How it works
- Pick the tests above and give the challenge a name.
- Share the link through Google Classroom, Teams, a QR code or the board.
- Students open it, press Start and work through the tests. Each result screen has a button to the next test.
- At the end they see all their scores together, with how they compare to other people, and can copy them for you.
Ideas for lessons
- Brain breaks and warm-ups: three quick tests take about five minutes.
- Science investigations: does reaction time change with practice, time of day or using the other hand? Students can collect their own data with the reaction time test.
- Memory strategies: try the number memory test before and after teaching chunking, and compare.
- Maths and data: collect class results, then work out the mean, median and range, or plot the spread.
Privacy
Students don't sign up or enter their names. Their scores are stored only in their own browser and are never sent to us or to you, so ask students to show or copy their summary if you want to record results. See the privacy policy for details on analytics and ads.
Does it work on school devices?
Yes. Everything runs in the browser on Chromebooks, Windows laptops, Macs, iPads and phones, with nothing to install. The click speed and spacebar tests work best with a mouse or keyboard; the others work well on touch screens too.
